The Positive Behaviour Reward Puzzle for Kids has been developed to help change behaviours that cause problems for children and families.  This game aims to create an opportunity to praise good habits and positive behaviour.   It has been found that if you are consistent in an approach when managing challenging behaviours for 21 days or more new and positive behaviours can become routine.   Therefore creating good habits for a series of 21+ days will hopefully change annoying behaviours into good habits.  There are 25 pieces of this puzzle.

The rules for  the game are very easy.  Parents and children work out a reward plan relevant to their family.   Your child can put a piece of the puzzle on the fridge or whiteboard if their behaviour is acceptable to you.   On every piece of the puzzle is a reward it is one, two, three, four or five points, depending on the piece,  these points are what the children are rewarded for, as they acculmate their points they are given the rewards, these rewards are up to your as parents/carers, but time spent with the child is often just as rewarding as a gift.  Maybe a trip to the park, or go get a special ice cream could be in your rewards table.  There are also some smilely faces in the puzzle which could be a special reward.
