These magnets are a wonderful learning tool for fractions.  It is very difficult to explain on paper so if you need assistance please contact us. 

This set contains one whole, two halves, three thirds and four quarters, so you have a visual of each fraction and you can see which is bigger etc.  It is easy to see that  a quarter is smaller than a third.  You can also make a fraction sentence, eg: one half and two quarters fits into a whole.
