There are forty magnets in this set, 20 with the numbers 1 ~ 20 on them and 20 with dots from 1 ~ 20 on them, this set is to encourage counting rather than just recognising numbers.  It also helps with patterns, eg: 3 groups of 3 equals 9 etc.
